Year: 2022

The world was badly damaged and people could barely breathe in this state of oxygen. I tried hard to plant trees around but the neighbourhood kids kept ruining it. Do they not care about this planet anymore? 1 more bad move and we’re all dead! My parents passed away 2 years ago and I was left with my sister. Usually when I look outside my window I see trash everywhere, it’s basically like our house is the cleanest in this whole world! I can’t do this anymore..

As it turned night I decided to spread some shocking news to her. “We’re going to run away from this city. Although the bad ecosystem is everywhere, the forest would be the best idea.” She reluctantly agreed and we thought of taking off tomorrow morning.

• Morning •
I woke my sister up with our packed suitcases and left the house. All the neighbourhood kids soon started laughing. They probably thought we were leaving because of their stupid pranks. We reached the forest after a 30 Minutes of walk. Our town was next to the forest after all. It soon started to become late. My legs were dead tired and my sister fell asleep so I carried her around. After 10 Minutes, I surprisingly stumbled across a branch and fell in a deep hole. My sister woke up as I screamed through this deep, hollow hole.

We both fainted then I woke up in a beautiful world.. There were many plants and it felt like I could breathe in years! My sister was still fainted after the little shock so I decided to build some shelter. We settled in a small wood place for now, but tomorrow I’ll improvise.

• Morning •
My sister woke up with a slight panic, I calmed her after explaining what happened. She finally smiled in years, that was probably the best time I’ve ever had.. I soon upgraded our shelter and it was more like a log cabin for now. I gathered more materials for our cabin while my sister went looking for food to eat. We both reached home and my sister gathered many fruits & vegetables. Man, I haven’t had those in ages! We feasted for a while and then I fixed the cabin more. Day after day, night after night, the house upgraded. We lived a privileged life and it’s the best thing imaginable.

Baking Cookies

During the holidays, my family had no plans on what to do so we stayed home. As usual, my dad went to work and my mother stayed to take care of us. To be honest, it was so boring. I feel like many would agree.

It was windy at the time and it was kind of freezing. So I knew I shouldn’t be playing outside. I was dying of boredom until my mum came in with a happy face. She asked, “Do you want to go to your cousin’s house?” My brother and I happily replied with, “Sure!” Then we drove to their house. Luckily it wasn’t that far.

We finally reached the house after many minutes. My brother and I ran inside first, leaving my mum walking behind. I greeted my cousins with a smile and then I walked to my little cousin to play with her! We did paper origami, and it was fun! We soon decorated it, and I’ve got to say, my little cousin is such an artist! After decorating over paper origami, my oldest cousin asked if we should make cookies. Not ordinary cookies but M&M Cookies! I’ve never baked at least once so I went to help too.

We found a M&M Cookie recipe on Tiktok, and it seemed simple enough. (Well if I was baking alone it would definitely not be simple.) Well first we melted the butter and when done we put it inside a bowl…

Many minutes later..

The cookies were completed but it was too hot so we let it cool for a while. After 5-10 minutes we grabbed the cookies and ate them. It was delicious and it was actually my first time baking in my whole life!
