  1. Kia ora Sadaw,

Simon here from the Summer Learning Journey team 👋

Tino pai! 😀 This looks like an incredible summer tiki tour! You have added some awesome details into the descriptions for each stop! 👏 I have visited a few of these stops and they were incredible experiences. I really enjoyed the Colosseum in Rome because it was amazing to learn more about the history of it and I love history! Plus, the food was incredible…and pasta is my favourite food! What place on your list of places would you most like to visit and why?

Do you have any favourite places in New Zealand to visit in summer?

    Ngā mihi,
    Simon (SLJ)

    1. Hi Simon!
Wow! You’ve went to the Colosseum? That’s amazing, my family and I barely travel so I don’t get to see the world that much. Pasta is on my top 10 favourite food, but my favourite food is Teriyaki Chicken on rice!

I would like to visit the Buckingham Palace, that’s for sure! The building must be so gigantic, it’d be amazing to see the height of the structure. My favourite place in New Zealand would probably be the Hamilton Gardens. It would be nice going there for the 3rd time! I love the Hamilton Gardens because there are a vibrate colour of flowers and there’s usually peace and quiet.

  2. Kia ora Sadaw,

I have been to the Colosseum. It was their summer and it was really, really hot. Rome is inland, so there isn’t a beach close by. There were fountains everywhere throughout the city that we would use to cool ourselves down.

I love the Hamilton Gardens too. It’s very cool that they have such a variety of gardens and it feels like going between different countries and climates when you visit a new garden.
